Do Dogs Prefer Hard or Soft Beds?

Each dog will have its own preference. Typically, soft beds are best for puppies, who need more warmth and comfort, and senior dogs, who may suffer from joint pain. Hard beds are usually preferred by dogs that want to regulate their body temperature in warmer climates. If your dog is sleeping on the floor next to its bed, then the bed you have provided is too soft.

Where Is the Best Place to Put a Dog Bed in the House?
